This manual focuses on the presentation of the Timeline of Life and the Timeline of Humans. The TimeLine of Life is paired with the study of Eras (Paleozoic, Mesozoic, and Cenozoic) and the Periods within the Eras.

The study of the Eras and Periods are viewed in terms of the animal life and plant life that developed. The
geology and temperature influences are also related to the development of plant life and animal life. This integration occurs on the TimeLine of Life.

It is important, therefore, that a proper foundation has been laid in the other cultural subjects of Botany, Zoology, and Geography in order for the child to approach the TimeLine of Life as an integrative experience.
