Virginia Fleege

Dr. Virginia Fleege founded the Midwest Montessori Teacher Training Center in Evanston, Illinois, with her husband, Dr. Urban Fleege, in 1965.  Dr. Fleege is a seminal figure in the US Montessori community and has taught thousands of teachers and children.  Her Early Childhood Geography & History Manual has been the foundation for thousands and thousands (!) of lessons in Montessori classrooms.
