Decimals Teaching Manual - Elementary II (9-12)

There are two distinct levels of study of decimal numbers covered in this manual.

The first level in the study of decimal numbers is numeration - the concept of the decimal number (the quantity) and the symbol that stands for the quantity. The separate study of each of the components of numeration, first the number (the quantity) and then the symbol for that quantity, allows for a more thorough understanding of the most challenging part of decimals - the numeration.

The second level in the study of decimal numbers is the operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
